Does the Missy come with training wheels, and what brakes does it have?
No—the Missy's cruiser frame geometry isn't compatible with training wheels. It's built for confident riders who already balance independently. The brake setup is V-brake (front) + coaster brake (back-pedal stop) on the rear, giving an intuitive way to stop. If you need a bike with training wheels, see our Classic Bikes collection.
What sizes does the Missy come in, and who fits each size?
The Missy beach cruiser hybrid comes in 3 wheel sizes with 6 total variants (each size has With/Without Rear Rack):
20" — riders 46"–59" tall (older kids and tweens, roughly ages 9–12)
24" — riders 51"–67" tall (tweens, teens, and shorter adults)
26" — riders 59"–72" tall (teens and adult riders)
What's included with each Missy bike, and what's not?
Every Missy beach cruiser ships with a handwoven wicker basket, V-brake + coaster brake, adjustable seat, soft handlebar grips, reflectors, vintage-style fenders, DIY stickers, and assembly tools. Choose With Rear Rack or Without Rear Rack at checkout.
How do I choose between Missy 20", 24", and 26"?
Match the wheel size to the rider's height: 20" for older kids and tweens 46"–59", 24" for tweens, teens, and shorter adults 51"–67", 26" for teens and adult riders 59"–72". The 24" is the most versatile family pick because it fits both growing kids and shorter parents. For growing children, sizing up gives more room over time.
Is the rear rack removable, and can I add it later?
Yes—the rear rack on the With Rear Rack variant is removable with basic tools. However, the Without Rear Rack variant doesn't include mounting brackets, so a rack can't be added after purchase. If you might carry cargo, a child seat, or panniers later, choose With Rear Rack upfront.
Can adults comfortably ride the Missy?
Yes—the 24" Missy fits adults up to 5" and the 26" fits adults up to 6". Many adult buyers, especially women, choose Missy as a stylish low-maintenance beach cruiser or short-distance commuter. The upright posture, wide tires, and step-through frame are designed for comfortable casual riding.
