12 Inch Bike

A 12 inch kids bike is designed for children aged 2 to 4 years, with a recommended height range of 33"–39" (84–99 cm) and an inseam of 14"–17" (35–43 cm). This is the very first pedal bike size after a balance bike, so the geometry is built around short legs, lightweight handling, and confidence-building rather than speed.

The most reliable method is to measure your child's inseam, not just their height. Have them stand against a wall in their shoes, place a hardcover book snugly between their legs, and measure from the floor to the top of the book. If the result is 14–17 inches, a 12" Glerc bike like Little Molly, Little Miss, or Maggie will fit perfectly. When your child is seated on the saddle, both feet should be able to rest flat on the ground — this is the safest starting position for a beginner.

Yes. Every 12" model in this collection — including Little Molly, Little Miss, Maggie, Petal, Sasha, Starry, and Fantacy — comes with a set of removable training wheels already included in the box. The training wheels are made from reinforced steel with rubber tread, and they can be easily detached with a single wrench once your child is ready to balance on two wheels. There is no need to purchase them separately.

Glerc bikes arrive 85% pre-assembled. The remaining setup takes about 15 to 20 minutes and involves installing the front wheel, handlebars, pedals, training wheels, and seat. All the necessary tools and clear, step-by-step instructions are included in the box.
