FAQs
What size Glerc Crossea BMX bike should I choose?
Choose the bike by the rider’s height and fit rather than age alone. The 18-inch Crossea is recommended for riders about 43–53 inches tall. The 20-inch model is better for taller riders. Before ordering, check that the rider can comfortably stand over the frame and reach the pedals, handlebar, and brake lever without stretching.
Is the Glerc Crossea a good BMX bike for beginners?
Yes. The Crossea is designed as a first BMX bike for young riders. Its single-speed drivetrain is simple to use, while the adjustable seat, Hi-Ten steel frame, and rear hand brake provide a practical setup for learning basic BMX riding on streets, paved paths, and beginner-friendly parks.
Does the Crossea BMX bike come with training wheels?
No. Training wheels are not included with the Crossea. The bike is best suited to riders who can already balance on two wheels or are ready to move from a balance bike to a BMX-style bike. Contact Glerc support before purchasing aftermarket training wheels to confirm compatibility.
What type of brake does the Glerc Crossea use?
Both the 18-inch and 20-inch Crossea use a rear aluminum U-brake operated by a hand lever. Before the first ride, an adult should check the brake tension and make sure the rider can comfortably reach and squeeze the lever.
How much assembly is required?
The Crossea arrives about 85% pre-assembled. The package includes the bicycle, pedals, reflectors, assembly tools, and user manual. An adult will need to complete the remaining assembly and check the brakes, handlebar, pedals, seat, and wheel fasteners before the bike is ridden.
