At Glerc, we believe a bicycle is more than a product — it’s a symbol of freedom, joy, and new beginnings.
This belief was recently reaffirmed when we received a handwritten letter from a family who benefited from our Glerc Gives donation program. Originally intended for a different customer, the bike was instead donated to a young girl through our initiative.
Her parents shared:
“The moment she saw it, her face lit up. She’s been riding it around with so much joy and excitement.”
What could have been a routine return turned into a life-changing gift — a small moment of happiness that made a big difference.
This is the heart of Glerc Gives: transforming product returns into opportunities to spark joy and mobility in the lives of children who need it most.
How Glerc Gives Works
Participating in Glerc Gives is simple and rewarding:
-
Donate the Assembled Bike
If your Glerc bike doesn’t quite fit after assembly, we invite you to donate it to a local nonprofit, youth center, or family shelter instead of shipping it back to us. -
Submit Proof of Donation
Send us a photo of the donation receipt along with a photo of the bike at the charity site. -
Receive a Refund
Once we’ve verified the donation, we’ll issue a refund minus a small 15% fee to cover warehouse and shipping logistics.
A small step for you, a big moment for someone else.
It’s our way of turning a return into something impactful—for you, and for a child in need.

Why Bike Donations Matter
A bike is more than just a toy—it can transform a child’s life. Here’s how:
🚴 Confidence & Freedom
Learning to ride builds courage and resilience — every wobble is a lesson in strength.
👫 Connection & Joy
Bikes open up new worlds: neighborhood rides, playground adventures, and shared memories.
💪 Physical & Mental Health
Cycling encourages movement, lowers stress, and boosts kids’ well-being in the most joyful way.
🌎 A Sustainable Way to Give
Repurposing a bike means less waste and more impact — for the child and for the planet.
A Bike That Keeps Giving
Every Glerc bike is crafted with care, intention, and the belief that movement changes lives. Sometimes, that journey takes an unexpected turn — not back to our warehouse, but forward into the hands of a child who needs it most.
Because if a bike isn’t the right fit for your family, it could be the perfect beginning for someone else’s.
That’s the spirit of Glerc Gives: transforming returns into second chances, and bicycles into moments of freedom, confidence, and pure joy.
And the best part? Giving back doesn’t just help others — it lifts us all.
Join us in creating more smiles, more first rides, and more stories worth telling — one bike at a time.
