The bike came mostly pre-assembled, which was great. I only needed to attach the handlebars, pedals, and front wheel. The quality feels solid, and the belt system is impressive. It’s nice not having to worry about rust or oil. I wish it came with a kickstand though—I had to buy one separately.
I bought two of the starry bikes for my boys. The bikes are beautiful and they are a BMX style bike which is perfect for my kids . The color was stunning I ordered a dark blue and an orange and my goodness just stunning. My husband put both bikes together within 1hr , very easy to do. Great quality bikes and the helmets and knee pads are great too.
Purchased this as my granddaughter’s first bike and it is absolutely adorable as well as built well.
The bike is impressively sturdy and well built, making it a solid choice for everyday riding. While the assembly process required some adjustments—such as rerouting the left-hand brake cable and repositioning the chain—I was ultimately able to get everything set up properly. These minor challenges were manageable with a bit of patience and a chain repair kit, and once assembled, the bike performed very well. If you're comfortable with basic bike maintenance or enjoy a bit of hands-on setup, this bike is a great option with excellent build quality.
This Glerc Mars mountain bike is really nice. It was relatively easy to put together, even for me, who never put a bike together before. There isn't a lot to assemble anyway. The outside of the box does recommend to have the bike assembled by a bicycle mechanic, but I think anyone with excellent hand mobility might be able to properly assemble this. But, going to a bike mechanic is still the safest option. BTW, make sure you watch the video on how to put it together because the instructions manual that comes with bike shows TWO different models but neither one is actually this bike. At first, it was frustrating and made me think I was missing some parts but then I watched the video and it all made sense.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the tires were already inflated. They did need just a tiny bit more air put in them though. The tires also feel really durable. They're nice, thicker mountain tires, not the thinner ones that almost look like they belong on a ten-speed. They also have good tread. They were really stinky of that new, rubbery, chemical smell though, as new tires tend to smell, so I had to haul this little beast outside to finish assembling because the stink was filling up the room.
The bike seems to work great and the ride is smooth. I haven't had any issues with anything (yet). I'll let you all know if that changes anytime soon. Overall, I think this is a really nice, stylish bike for any kid or very petite person.
Very nice quality and a big shout out to customer support. They were so helpful and you couldn’t get a nicer person on the phone sent me all kinds of how to videos and stayed on the phone till I was able to download them and find them on my iPad….
My daughter LOVES this bike! Assembly wasn't awful - YouTube videos really help! The bike is beautiful and has so many details that make it perfect.
